Abstract

The purpose of implementing community service (PKM) through the kuliah kerja mahasiswa (KKM) team is to participate in helping to optimize the use of household gardens as various vegetable and medicinal plants. PKM partners are a group of women farmers in Bojongpedes village, Sukabumi Regency. The method of implementing PKM is carried out by observation and socialization, the implementation stage of activities and evaluation. The results of the implementation of PKM activities contribute to the optimizing food diversification through the use of yard land with the aim of meeting food needs, and family and community nutrition through optimizing the use of yards in a sustainable manner. Other results and outputs can also increase public awareness to cultivate the use of yards in supporting the diversity of environmentally friendly food consumption that is sustainable, as well as increase community motivation and participation in the development of food consumption diversity with a guarantee of well-maintained cleanliness and health.
