Abstract

The purpose of implementing community service (PKM) through kuliah kerja mahasiswa (KKM) participates in helping to increase public attention to the importance of ecological restoration efforts on agricultural land and the environment. PKM partners are part of a group of farmers from the community in Kebonpedes village, Sukabumi Regency. The PKM implementation method is carried out by observation and socialization based on seminar activities, activity implementation stages and evaluations. The results of the implementation of this PKM activity are able to increase the attention and understanding of farmer groups in an effort to restore agricultural land and the environment so that they do not continue to experience land degradation, including the application of conservative agricultural patterns, the application of environmentally friendly organic farming patterns, and inseparable from the institutional participation of farmers and the surrounding community. The results of the evaluation consider it important that the attention of the relevant authorities in a sustainable manner and the understanding of the farming community as a whole in an effort to maintain the productivity of conservative agricultural land.
